KoskiPly birch exterior is a strong but flexible thin plywood material that is made in Finland from renewable birch. It can be used for a wide range of purposes – the only limit is your imagination. KoskiPly birch exterior particularly suitable for furniture, instruments, saddles, sports equipment, scale models and many other technical uses, such as aircraft production.
The thin and stylish plywood bends into different shapes
KoskiPly birch exterior is flexible cross-banded thin plywood, which is manufactured with varying birch veneer thicknesses, depending on the thickness of the end product. The surface of the sheet is made up of seamless birch veneer, with the grain patterns giving it a natural and unique look. The thin plywood can be bent into a variety of shapes, which is why it is perfect for lamps, furniture and other interior design purposes. The surface of the sheet can be left untreated to accentuate the beautiful grain patterns shaped by nature. You can also lacquer, wax or stain the surface like any other wood surface. Two surface quality options, AB/B and BR/BR, are available, depending on the purpose of use and the quality of the surface veneer required by the end use.
The easily-maintainable and non-toxic birch plywood made of thin veneer can be worked with CNC or waterjet cutting machinery
The thin plywood is flexible, light and easy to work with any woodworking machinery. The non-toxic KoskiPly birch exterior plywood, which is also suitable for use by the food industry, can be safely cut to the desired shapes by means of CNC or waterjet cutting machinery. Thanks to the easy workability, you can use the product for making any shapes from furniture components to small items, such as plywood jewellery and interior decoration items. Thin plywood can be moulded into a staggering range of imaginative shapes and products. Our KoskiPly birch exterior plywood also meets the requirements of the EN 71-3 standard, which ensures that the birch plywood products can be safely used for the manufacture of toys, jigsaw puzzles and other products intended for children.

KoskiPly birch exterior thin plywood is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The exterior glue used in the production ensures that the material can withstand any weather conditions. Thanks to the cross-banded structure and thin veneers, the product is also durable and, most of all, light. This makes it perfect for manufacturing a variety of sports equipment, such as hockey sticks, canoes, paddles, skateboards and skis.
